A fun-filled, confidence-building experience that introduces students to the exciting world of theatre, entertainment and performance. Delivered in supportive small groups, the programme gives every student the opportunity to participate, develop their skills and receive individual encouragement.
Throughout the week, students will explore a range of performance styles through practical workshops, creative games and group activities. They will develop acting and communication skills, learn how to express themselves, work collaboratively and build the confidence to perform in front of others—all while having plenty of fun. All materials, props and equipment are provided.
Day 1: Discovering Classical Theatre
Explore traditional theatre through character development, storytelling, scripted scenes and expressive performance.
Day 2: Discovering Physical Theatre
Discover how movement, facial expressions, body language and gesture can communicate characters, emotions and stories.
Day 3: Discovering Improvisation
Build confidence, quick thinking and creativity through entertaining improvisation games, spontaneous scenes and team challenges.
Day 4: Discovering Live Entertainment – Coat Style
Experience the energy and excitement of live entertainment through interactive performance, comedy, audience engagement and Coat-style routines.
Day 5: Final Performance and Awards
Bring everything together in a final performance, giving students the opportunity to showcase their new skills and celebrate their creativity, confidence and achievements with a special awards presentation.
