STREET ART & VISUAL REPRESENTATION

Street Art & Visual Representation at Macademia introduces young people aged 10+ to creative expression through urban art, visual communication and contemporary culture. Students explore a range of artistic techniques, styles and influences whilst developing their own artistic voice, confidence and visual storytelling skills.

The course is structured into four standalone modules, each running as a 6-week block (2-hour sessions). Modules can be taken in sequence or alongside other subjects, allowing learners to build a flexible and personalised creative journey.

Through practical projects, experimentation and real-world inspiration, students explore how art can communicate ideas, identity and social messages. Learners develop drawing, design and composition skills whilst creating their own portfolio of work and gaining confidence in creative expression.

The programme is suitable for both aspiring young artists and those who simply enjoy being creative, whilst also providing valuable skills and portfolio development for students considering GCSE Art, A-Level Art or future creative pathways.
